On mathematical models for a kinetic approach of nanoscale flows and surface diffusion |
講演要旨: |
In last year a great interest was brought to molecular transport at nanoscale. In a series of paper (from 1994 to 2002) J.J.M. Beenakker and S.Y. Krylov proposed to use kinetic theory in order to analyse the mechanisms that determine mobility of molecules in nanoscale channels. This new approach proved to be useful for instance for explaining the density dependence of diffusion coefficients which has been observed in some experiments. In this talk we present the kinetic and diffusion models introduced by J.J.M. Beenakker and S.Y. Krylov from a mathematical point of view. |
